BOB ROSE

Bob Rose Thermal BarBob Rose grew up and still lives in Central New York. After college he worked as an engineer for about ten years and then went to aviation as a full time job. Bob flew fighter jets with the Air National Guard where he retired as a commander and instructor in the F-16 and then went on to a pilot job with Delta Air Lines.

Taking advantage of the beautiful environment of upstate New York, Rose has always been involved in outdoor sports. A few of his passions are rock and ice climbing, kayaking, back country and alpine skiing, running and fly fishing. Cold climate and big winter snowfall is Bob’s favorite time of year but he always looked for ways to make it more comfortable.

As a distance runner with the pulse of a Zen Monk, Bob had the great idea of using healthy food ingredients to enhance circulation so one night he hit the kitchen and put together a bar that would perform like no other. The results was the first Thermal Bar.  After having the good fortune to meet Dr. Danny Chawan and with five years of constant refinement today’s Thermal Bar emerged. A man who wants to stand on Everest on his 100th birthday, Bob has worked hard to put only the best ingredients into Thermal Bar energy bar which not only help you stay warm but bring you many other health benefits beside.

DON ROSE

Don Rose grew up in Syracuse, New York. At an early age his father had instilled in Don and his brother Bob an appreciation of wildlife and the outdoors that has always been and still is something shared whenever possible. In 1980 after 2 years at a local community college Don took off for additional education in New York City and upon completion entered the field of graphic design and commercial art that continues to the present.

It seems that whenever Bob got a “big idea” Don was the defacto art department, with Thermal Bar, a unique new product, being no exception. When not at the drawing board/computer Don enjoys travel, cooking, photography, hiking, kayaking, martial arts, fishing and museums among many other things. He currently lives in Greenwich Village.
