Finally, fresh snow in Central New York. When rain turns to snow the results is the beauty you see in this shot. If you have a kayak, try putting in just on the east side of the bridge where Rt. 20 and Rt 13 merge entering the village. If the lower dam is closed you can make a right turn just past the first dam and go about 1 mile upstream. Lots of natural beauty and wildlife…and don’t forget to bring along Thermal Bar. It will make any cool weather outing more comfortable and when the water gets this cold, a life jacket is a must even though you are close to shore.
